According to a brief court proceeding Wednesday, a roommate of suspended Minnesota Viking Chris Cook is now considered to be a witness after it having been found that he was in their Eden Prairie townhouse during Cook's suspected jealousy-fueled assault of his girlfriend, the Star Tribune reported.
According to the Washington Post, Cook has been on the suspended without pay list since he was charged with domestic assault by strangulation.
In Cooks first court appearance the previous Wednesday, he did not enter a plea but was free on $40,000 bail, the Washington Post reported.
No details have been released about what Will Grishaw, the identified witness, might have seen or heard, the Star Tribune reported.
