Calvin and Hobbes: Dad Explains Science

Calvin and Hobbes Dad explains science

See first cartoon.

From 11-26-1986

Famous too in Wikipedia:

When asked about how weight limits for bridges are measured, he answers, "They drive bigger and bigger trucks over the bridge until it breaks. Then they weigh the last truck and rebuild the bridge."

Not quite, but not as far off as it should be.
