Roomba's Route Choice.

Is this the best solution to the Roomba problem (covering an area with a vacuum cleaner in the minimal time), I am sure somebody in Operations Research has a formal name for this: Long-Exposure Shot of a Roomba's Path Shows Beautifully Organized Chaos on Gizmodo

That's about the path pattern created by my Roomba. The ad claimed that it can clean 80% to 90% of the whole area. In fact, I don't mind the path redundancy since I will just let it run freely in my room when I am in a shower (as long as it will not get stuck -- meaning it should be robust).
