A Cedar, Minn. resident died Sunday in a crash on I-29 in Traill County, the north Dakota Highway Patrol said as reported by The Pioneer Press.
Dennis Lee Johnson, 63, was killed after slippery roads made his 1999 Ford Explorer went into the highway's median at 3 p.m., police said as reported by Grand Forks Herald.
Johnson was ejected out of his vehicle and was not wearing a seat belt, The Pioneer Press reported.
Johnson hit a 2013 Volvo semi-tractor containing Kevin Fogerty, 43, before driving into the median, Grand Forks Herald reported.
Fogerty was not injured, Grand Forks Herald reported.
