Through the Minnesota Digital Library project (MDL), over 6,000 historical images have come together in Minnesota Reflections, a searchable digital collection of the state’s past. The images were culled from the individual collections of 55 historical societies, special collections, museums, and libraries including the University Archives, the Minnesota Orchestra Archives and the Northwest Architectural Archives within University Libraries. Minnesota Reflections is the first digitization effort by the MDL, and this web-based collection features digital copies of photographs, stereographs, and postcards from across Minnesota, all taken or produced prior to 1909.
