New Resource: Web of Science backfiles

The University Libraries have greatly expanded their Web of Science resource by including 18 years of backfiles dating from 1975. Web of Science is the online interface for ISI Citation Index products, covering more than 8,000 international journals in the sciences, social sciences, and arts and humanities.



New Collection: Robert Bly archive

The University Libraries have acquired the manuscripts, personal papers, and correspondence of esteemed American poet Robert Bly. Bly, widely considered to be among the greatest living writers, is the author of more than 30 collections of poetry and several of prose, including Iron John, one of the most talked-about works of cultural criticism of our time. The collection will be housed in Elmer L. Andersen Library on the University's West Bank campus.

New Resource: Historical Statistics of the U.S.

Quick: How many foreign students attend college in the U.S.? How has the size of the average American family changed in the past 100 years? How many Hispanic women live in the southern half of the country?

Stumped? Check out Historical Statistics of the U.S.. This compendium, produced by the Census Bureau since 1790, includes statistics on population, migration, poverty, nonprofit organizations, slavery, and Native Americans. It's now a part of the University Libraries' collection.
