U-Spatial workshops offered

Want to learn more about Geographic Information Services (GIS) to analyze data and create maps?uspatial.jpg

Here are two courses being offered this fall by the U-Spatial group throughout fall semester:

ArcGIS Online: Introduction to Web Mapping
This is a half-day workshop that gives participants an introduction to the ArcGIS Online web mapping platform. If you (or your faculty, researchers, etc) are interested in how to quickly discover, display and share spatial data, this class should offer a good introduction.

Geographic Information Systems: Analyzing Data and Creating Maps
This is a whole-day workshop that gives the participants an introduction to ArcMap, GIS, how to use data to create maps and basic map making techniques. If you have been curious about what exactly GIS is or how it works, this class offers an excellent starting point.
