Reading:
1. Finish reading Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass
2. Read 2-3 narratives from the Voices website. 2 selections from the Yetman, if the Bookstore has it available.

Focus on the Douglass, use the other narratives to inform your understanding of the Douglass and create additional questions.

When reviewing the Douglass, pay special attention to how Dr. Rabinowitz's 5 "L's" appear -
Life
Liberty
Labor
Land
Language

Next week we will work a little with your discussion questions, address any new questions the readings and lectures have raised, and go over the directions for the first paper.
