UMN: Bio-Med Library - School of Dentistry

The ADA's new EBD web site has just been launched. This site was developed by the ADA Science Division, and was funded by a grant from the National Library of Medicine. The ADA Library staff provides support for literature searching and indexing.

More features will be added later, including access to the Cochrane Library for ADA members. Cochrane Library access is already available to all U of M affiliates via the A-Z listing on Bio-Med's home page

I'll be on a professional development leave from April 1-June 30, 2009. I will be working on creating online learning tools to help researchers investigate a health disparity topic.

During my absence, please direct your information questions to these service points at the Library:

For ready-reference type questions such as asking about availability of specific journals/books, verifying citations, or questions about using library resources, please send an email to our MedRef service.

For requests that require more in-depth assistance such as doing a literature search or having a librarian attend a class session or do an orientation session, please use our Meet with a Librarian web form to make this request.

You can also call our Reference desk during normal business hours (M-F, 8am-5pm) at 612-626-3260.
