Copyright information from the University Libraries!
Just a reminder that the University Libraries have some resources to help you learn about copyright issues that may arise in your teaching, research, and other activities! We offer workshops (eligible for RCR continuing education credit) that address fundamental copyright issues and help you manage your own copyrights (http://z.umn.edu/meetcopyright) and that help you understand and apply the law around "fair use" of materials (http://z.umn.edu/copyfair) We also offer customized workshops or presentations for your class or workgroup, and individual consultations. Check out http://www.lib.umn.edu/copyright/aboutcie.phtml for more information.
A Request: We hope that you may be willing to take a few moments to fill out an online survey with some questions about your current experiences with and knowledge of copyright issues. Your answers will help us develop programming, like workshops and online training materials, that more directly addresses your informational needs. They will also help inform scholarship on copyright issues. No prior knowledge of copyright is expected - all are welcome to participate. Participation is strictly voluntary, and should take approximately 10-20 minutes of your time.
