From the GMR: Free NCBI Training Opportunity in Milwaukee 10/31-11/1

The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) is offering the course "Field Guide to GenBank and NCBI Molecular Biology Resources" at the Medical College of Wisconsin (Milwaukee, Wisconsin) on October 31-November 1, 2007. This program is sponsored by the Medical College of Wisconsin Libraries (http://www.lib.mcw.edu). There is no charge for the course. Registration is required and must be received by October 22, 2007.

Course Information:

The course consists of a 3-hour lecture on October 31 followed by an optional 2-hour hands-on computer workshop scheduled on either October 31 or November 1.

Hands-On Computer Workshop:
Workshop B / October 31 / 3:00-5:00p.m.
Workshop C / November 1 / 1:00-3:00p.m.
