MLA Webcast on Work-Life Balance - 3/25 at the University of Minnesota

The Health Sciences Libraries at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities Campus, will be hosting the next Medical Library Association webcast, described below. There is no charge for attendees, and 2 hours of MLA CE credits will be awarded. To register, please contact Liz Fine at evfine@umn.edu no later than March 24th.

**NOTE: The webcast will be held in Wilson Library, which is not the usual location. Further details will be given in your registration confirmation. Also, I will be on vacation from 3/15-3/19, but if you need information during that time you may contact Denise Gamble (gambled@umn.edu), who is co-coordinating the webcast.**

Finding Work-Life Balance: Strategies for You and Your Institution

The goal of this program is to identify ways to enhance the balance between work and life, provide an overview of the institutional, professional and personal benefits of encouraging balance, and outline considerations for implementing successful changes.

• describe the types of programs and changes that enhance work-life balance
• assess the potential benefits of promoting work-life balance for the individual, the institution, the profession, and society
• outline the challenges and companion strategies for implementing successful change
• recognize responsibilities of the institution and the individual to enhance work-life balance
