Have a great idea for a new program or service, but unsure how to sell it?
Get the sweats when asked to do a presentation? So much training to do, so
little time?

CHLA/ABSC 2009 can help! We've got a great selection of continuing
education courses to develop and enhance your skills and expertise - a few
highlights:

*Join Ulla de Stricker for "Crafting a compelling business case" -
this one day hands on session will hep you work though the specific
elements of developing a strong business case for getting the
support you need for services, resources and programs.

*Prove your worth with the tools needed to demonstrate your library's
value to the organization. Betsy Kelly & Barb Jones will provide take-away
methods and tools and take participants through the steps of an evaluation process.

*Presentation jitters? Rosalyn Howard will be putting you in front of
the camera and on the road to developing dynamic presentation skills

*Using technology to expand training reach - A hands-on look at easy-
to-use tools for developing online interactive tutorials and training
sessions for your clients.
