Reminder: Job Posting at University of North Dakota Library of the Health Sciences
Before you delete this because it is in North Dakota, please consider it. I have lived in the Midwest and on the East Coast. I like North Dakota. The air is clean, the people are nice, cost of living is low and the state has money. Really, the state has money. We got pay raises. The benefits are good - we don't pay anything for our health insurance - even a family plan. You can take one class/semester free of charge. Yes, it is cold in the winter but you put on layers and go on with life. The summers make up for it. We do not have lots of hot and humid weather. We are close to the Minnesota lake country with great hiking, camping, fishing and bicycling opportunities. There is an active arts community. Oh, and there's also Division 1 hockey and other athletics. This is a great job with lots of autonomy and nice co-workers. We do lots of outreach activities around the state and our medical school is distributed around the state too. Grand Forks is a nice-sized college town with an Air Force base. Please don't hesitate to contact me (see below) if you have any questions.
