Call for CE Volunteers
Colleagues and students, want to become more involved at the regional meeting and have fun too? Show your passion and commitment to the profession by volunteering at the 2010 Midwest Chapter / Medical Library Association (MLA) & Wisconsin Health Science Library Association (WHSLA) annual conference. Volunteering is a rewarding experience, providing you with opportunities to network and make new colleagues as well as contribute to an enhanced conference experience for all attendees.
The Continuing Education (CE) Co-Chairs, Tammy Mays and Ulrike Dieterle, are seeking volunteers who would like to assist in introducing CE speakers and being a room monitor. Volunteers must be available either Saturday, September 25 and/or Tuesday, September 28, 2010.
Volunteers will be responsible for introducing the CE instructor(s), monitoring the room while the workshop is in process, be available for class or room-related errands that may be requested, collecting MLA evaluations, and distributing MLA CE certificates at the end of the workshop. Note: Members of the planning committee will be available for guidance and assistance for all volunteers.
To volunteer at the upcoming conference, please provide the following contact information and which workshop(s) you are interested in volunteering for via email to Tammy Mays at firstname.lastname@example.org.
