Exhibit Celebrating America's Women Physicians

The University of Minnesota Health Sciences Libraries will host the National Library of Medicine's Changing the Face of Medicine exhibit October 26 - December 5, 2010. This exhibit highlights the many ways women have influenced and enhanced the practice of medicine. The individuals featured in this exhibit provide an intriguing glimpse of the broader community of women doctors who are making a difference. The exhibit honors the lives and accomplishments of these women in the hope of inspiring a new generation of medical pioneers.

Several events will be held in concert with the exhibit to celebrate the contributions of women physicians - both nationally and within Minnesota. All events are free and open to the public.
