Exhibit on Women in Medicine Now Open

The Health Sciences Libraries (HSL) are pleased to announce the opening of the Changing the Face of Medicine exhibit. This exhibit highlights the many ways women have influenced and enhanced the practice of medicine.

The exhibit runs October 25 - December 5, 2010 and can be viewed in the Bio-Medical Library on the 2nd floor of Diehl Hall.

The following events will be held in concert with the exhibit to celebrate the contributions of women physicians - both nationally and within Minnesota:

- Opening Reception: October 28, 2010; 3:00 - 6:00p (Program begins at 4:00p)

- Work/Life Balance Speaker Panel: November 16, 2010; 12:15-1:15p

- Minnesota's Future Doctors Poster Session: November 1 - December 5, 2010

- "A Lady Alone" Elizabeth Blackwell Play: November 30, 2010; 6:00p - 8:00p
