From the GMR: PubMed Course online starts Oct 24th

Just a reminder that there are still open "seats" available in our online version of Making PubMed Work for You which runs from October 24th through November 14, 2011. This is final time the class will be offered in 2011.

This free three-week course covers the same materials as the in-person class, but you can take it at your own pace via Moodle. This class is intended to hone basic searching techniques and the ability to develop search strategies that will take advantage of the PubMed interface to MEDLINE. The course will explore various methods for searching the PubMed system. Topics covered include Automatic Term Mapping, Search Results, Limits and Details, Related citations, My NCBI, Searching with MeSH, and the Single
Citation Matcher.

Join us during the week of October 24th and learn new things about PubMed. Register online with the GMR registration system at: http://tinyurl.com/gmrregistration

See you online.
