The Allina Hospitals & Clinics Library Services will be hosting the Medical Library Association's educational webcast, "Connecting E-Science and Team Science" on Friday, November 18, 2011, from 1:00 p.m.-2:30 p.m.

Program Objectives
* This webcast will introduce information professionals to a brief introduction and a review of the last 6 months of advances in eScience
* The Spectrum of Research will provide an understanding of the uniqueness of multiple disciplines including Laboratory, Clinical, Outcomes/Community Engagement, and the concept of Translational Research
* Provide the tools for a collaborative team including priming interdisciplinary collaboration, facilitators and challenges, the necessity of teams, funding support, and librarian roles
* Librarians as connectors/facilitators in researcher networking
