From the GMR: Practice-Based Research Networks

Network members,

The GMR is interested to know if any librarians in our region are working with one of the Practice-Based Research Networks (PBRN) in our region. The PBRN Registry on the Agency for Healthcare Research & Quality (AHRQ) indicates that there are networks in Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio and Wisconsin. The registry is found at: http://pbrn.ahrq.gov/portal/server.pt/community/practice_based_research_networks_%28pbrn%29__pbrn_information/855

We want to learn more about the potential for librarians to play a role supporting research in practice settings. If you know of someone who is working with health practitioners that belong to one of these networks, please me know.

Please send replies directly to Ruth Holst at: rholst@uic.edu.

Thank you. Ruth
