SLA event on crafting your message to achieve awareness and support

HSLM members are invited to attend!

Registration is open for SLA-MN's annual continuing education program. Professional Development Chairs Elizabeth Meylor and Julie Weston bring us "Use Your Influence! Crafting Your Message to Achieve Awareness & Support" 1-5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9 at Southdale Public Library.

Plan to attend this interactive workshop to learn to influence others through a communication styles assessment, exercises and an introduction to powerful influence tools. You will leave with a personal influencing plan that fits your style and the needs unique to your work environment. Cheryl Leitschuh, a leadership development consultant, will lead the program. Learn more about Leitschuh at http://career-future.com. This just might be what you need to convince your organization's key decision-makers to hire more staff, invest in a new resource or support your professional development.

Please find more details and register at http://bit.ly/NZoVRR. Space is limited so please register by Tuesday, Oct. 2.

Please contact me with any questions!
