From the GMR: Lake Effects Webinar 10/18: Teen Health Resources

GMR Lake Effects this month will be "From A(norexia) to Z(its): Providing Health Information to Teens", presented by Samanthi Hewakapuge - GMR Consumer Health Coordinator

This is a one hour version of the class designed for public librarians and secondary school librarians, teachers, nurses, and counselors. This session will present an overview of health information needs of teenagers and their information seeking behaviors; review communication skills needed during reference interviews with teenagers; and explore credible health information resources that are designed for teens.
