Data dashboards are becoming an important program planning and management tool in for-profit and nonprofit organizations. They provide visual displays of project indicator data that show "at-a-glance" progress on projects and initiatives. This webinar will introduce participants to data dashboards, with a focus on making data dashboards useful in decision-making. They also will see how to create a simple dashboard using Google Docs that can be displayed in a blog or at a website. By the end of the webinar,
participants should know how to assess a data dashboard for usefulness in decision making and where to get free tools to develop their own dashboards. The session is primarily lecture with some audience participation built into the session. This is a one-hour synchronous online training session. You will earn 1 MLA CE for this webinar.
