From the GMR: Patient Safety - Free Online Course Starting

Join us for the online version of: Patient Safety Resource Seminar: Librarians on the Front Lines.

This five-week course will cover the same materials as the four-hour in-person class, but you can take it at your own pace via Moodle. Spend about one hour each week at a time of your own choosing. We will cover definitions, system issues, and legislation. Additionally, the course allows you to focus in one of three areas: patient safety to consumers, advocating patient safety in your institution, or teaching patient safety. Your participation will earn 6 MLA CE.

Sign up today for this course which will run from February 4 - March 8, 2012. Register online with the GMR registration system at:

See you online and feel free to email me directly with any questions.
