From the GMR: An Overview of Health Insurance Literacy this month on Lake Effects
Please join us for this month's Lake Effects presentation, An Overview of
Health Insurance Literacy, presented by Emily Vardell, PhD candidate,
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Emily will review research on
the readability of health insurance forms; provide reading level assessment
tools; and discuss what can be done to lower the reading level of materials.
The class will be presented via Adobe Connect on Thursday, February 20, 2014, at 1:00 PM CT. This Lake Effects has been approved for the CHIS Program by MLA.
