Wave Conundrum

Ok here is the bodice back and skirt . See a difference? (fingers crossed that you don't!) But honestly, do you think it would be noticable if gathered and separated by a gathered midriff??

Tried to shoot the bamboo wonder but all attempts were blurry. @*#$&!*$%& Guess I have to wait for daytime. Also, I am afraid that this yarn is going to stretch terribly. Anyone have any experience with how much it stretches out?

Sigh.

Personally, I do not see much difference. After looking closely, I could tell, but there is a strong diagonal design element that is nearly the same in both top and bottom. That seems to be more prominent than the rounded wave motif. I would say to go ahead with the dress, and use the gathered midriff. Your dress will be fine. The fabric is quite lovely.

Thank you for the encouragement! I went for it and I think it turned out pretty well. There are always some snafus, but it is not bad!
