Bad First, Good Later.
So my car got broken into, my face is breaking out, and this is the second month in a row that my period decided to visit twice. But besides that, things are pretty ok. I finished two dresses (one for my mom!) and most of a shirt and I'm going to be teaching a class at Crafty Planet! Yay! Hopefully I'll get around to actually taking some pix today. Then, there will be some good later even if I'm a Debbie Downer at the moment. Right now, unfortunately, I have to file a police report. So, if you will excuse me...

So sorry about your car. Someone smashed my back window a couple months ago. Nothing of monetary value was taken, but they did steal this portable seat cushion that my grandparents used to take with us to the Hollywood Bowl. Then there was the $350 to replace the window. On the bright side, since misery comes in threes, you've probably maxed out for the month, so its all rainbows and butterflies from here!

Not to be an alarmist or anything, but I had irrugular periods for two years while various doctors changed my birth control pills around but did little else. Finally this year, a new doc diagnosed me with a uterine polyp. I suppose no one thought of it because I'm rather young to have one (not anywhere near 40), but its something to look into. Better two months than two years!
I'm having a terrible streak of luck with my car too. I got rear-ended while leaving my house. Not that big of a deal I guess, but I still have to take the time to get my car fixed.
It always has to be something, I suppose...

Sorry to hear about the car...and everything else (I always wonder if I'm close enough to someone to discuss periods...you know...should I say something - or should I just say how sorry I am? Do I make a joke about it? I'm going to leave this one now - but if you say something about it again - I'll crack a joke - okay?? :) ).
I FINALLY got the dress pattern...but I've been busy on the skirts I have to do...so it sits there, waiting, looking at me - practically saying "Make Me".
This class at the Crafty Planet - is it only by you? Is it an online class???

It only little me teaching the BBW class at CP! Not online, in the shop all hands-on and whatnot :) As far as Aunt Flo goes, I'm going to the Dr next week so we'll see... As far as everything else goes... everyone go out and have a gimlet! or a nice glass of merlot!
