Moss In the Heads of Cheeser's!

Think Randy Moss didn't have an impact on the psyche of Green Bay fans when he ended their season by ending their pathetic post-season hopes? Go no further than Madison, Wisconsin where a string of billboards specifically target Moss.

The first one says: "Squirting an Official with water bottle $25,000."

The next one: "Ramming a Meter Maid $1,200 and probation."

The third billboard says: "Mooning pack fans $10,000."

The final one: "Zero rings for Randy Moss. Priceless."

If for no other reason than to show Packer fans as being overly obsessed with their hatred towards Moss, we cannot allow the team to trade him!

This is golden, golden stuff!

I just read over you blog and liked it a lot. I'm a Vikings fan from Columbus, Ohio and I think the Vikings are a few players away from greatness. Of course, under no circumstances I would trade away Randy Moss or start to tear apart the team's secondary.

If I were the Vikings' head coach, I would pick up Maurice Clarett on draft day in round three or four. I know he's a risky pick but sometimes you have to roll the dice on loudmouths in order to win in the NFL. However, he's a 230-pound battering ram of a tailback. I would use him in the red zone and in key third-down situations. In the coming years he could turn into a fine feature back for the team. I would still use Michael Bennett and Onterrio Smith as the feature backs for now. Prior to the start of the season I would have my offensive coaches convert M. Moore into a third-down inside slot receiver.

By this time I would have made my round-one draft pick. My round-one pick would have been Ernest Shazor, a safety from the University of Michigan. However, he's not going to play safety for the team. Prior to the start of the season I'll have my defensive coaching staff convert the 6-4, 229 pound Shazor into a middle linebacker. As a middle linebacker, Shazor would be able to use his sub 4.5 speed in the 40 to cover receivers over the middle and tackle running backs as they break the defensive line. Plus, he would be an all-world special teams player for the team.

In the later-rounds of the draft I would pick up a nose tackle and under tackle. All they'll need to do is hold their blocks in order for Shazor and company to make the plays.

After the draft I'll sit down with my defensive coaches and redesign the D-line with Kevin Williams at defensive end. I would have the defensive coaches design a third-down bliz packages that uses D. Scott as a Lawrence Taylor-type stand up rush linebacker.

Go Vikings
