This week's first SHOUT OUT! goes to David Key who got up at an ungodly hour to arrive at the Vikings ticket office and I did get his tickets to the GB game (plus KC). He got there at about 5:30am, and was 86th in line!
A Texas sized SHOUT OUT! (seriously) to Red McCombs who has donated $30 million of Zygi Wilf's money to cancer research.
A SHOUT OUT! to Corey Chavous who is keeping his supposed displeasure with his $1.9 million salary for 2005 in house, for now. Better that than publically airing dirty laundry ala the Twins players and manager this season.
A SHOUT OUT! to, um, me for keeping you up-to-date with the ever present LA-NFL scenarios.
A reverse SHOUT OUT! to New Ulm, Minnesota Mayor Joel Albrecht who has raised the bar for stupid politicians everywhere. (Gawd, I'm so embarrassed for Minnesotans!)
Speaking of being embarrassed, how about a SHOUT OUT! to women who most likely would not think of trying this idea.

Brian...SHOUT OUT! Fridays are great. Keep up the good work. My daughter came over last night with her boyfriend, and I showed him the tape you sent me of the Sunday Sports Wrap show from years gone past, with you and the Wife in the studio audience with us. I am trying to convert him from the dark side (Bear fan) to the world of Purple. I keep telling him that this is THE year, but I've been saying that for a long, long time.
