And we're back with another podcast. I'll be doing a podcast each and every Monday for the foreseeable future.
You do not need a iPod to listen to podcasts. You just need iTunes. Once you subscribe to a podcast, iTunes automatically checks for updates and downloads new episodes to your computer. And if you do own a iPod, when you sync your iPod to iTunes, all your podcasts come along for the ride. You get on-demand radio, delivered automatically. Including my own podcast of Mr. Cheer Or Die's Viking Underground. Just use the link found on the upper left of this blog. Plug it into the Podcast area of iTunes, and that's it!
My podcasts are now also listed via Podcast Alley. Be sure and vote for my site on Podcast Alley! And best of all, Podcast Alley provides a podcast player which you will see when you click on the link provided. In fact, I recommend using this Podcast Alley link as when you click on their player the podcast begins playing while the remainder is being downloaded.
And for those who simply do not want to use iTunes, download the MP3 file for the 7/18 podcast and open using a MP3 player such as Windows Media Player.
This weeks podcast was a round-table discussion between myself, Shane of the Greet Machine, Stick and Ball Guy, and Cheesehead Craig. We talked Twins, Vikings, Wisconsin sports, and stadium. And we also enjoyed a special cake!
It's a long podcast, coming in at just under 45-minutes. Please let me know if that was too long or just about right. In any event, be sure and save your favorite VU podcasts. I have limited space for podcast storage so when I need room, the oldest podcasts will be deleted.
I'll be in Chicago until Thursday on business. See you then! If you are bored, why not try out The Wife'sŪ blog? Lot's a great garden photos, themed cake photos (ever see a Marvin the Martian cake!?!?), and preparation detail for the upcoming Hennepin County and Minnesota State fairs.

Great job on today's podcast! I just finished listening to it, and you guys sound inebriated - HA! - but you sound knowledgeable and fun. I really enjoyed the segments on the stadium issue, Coach Tice, the upcoming Vikings season, and the Twins.
Also, as a 'Mats fan, I really enjoy your including them in your playlist here and there. I own their entire catalog and listen to them all the time. I also enjoy a lot of Westerberg's solo stuff.
Keep up the great work all of you! Also, thanks for your time in doing this - all 4 of you. It's really great for us out of town fans to enjoy a local flavor/buzz with our beloved team. I appreciate the O.C. being such a good sport as well.
Let's go Minnesota and build those stadiums! You must get the Twins outside and get the Vikes in a new state-of-the-art stadium. Don't let the Packers and Wisconsin out do you!
Thanks,
Shane Ford

I am interested to know for sure the time that Randy Moss ran in the NFL combine. I have heard 4.28 and lower but I want to know for sure... any ideas?
Posted by: Cayman Shutter at July 20, 2005 01:56 AMI know that Moss ran faster after he saw the security guards at the combine...
Posted by: Cheesehead Craig at July 20, 2005 04:18 PMIt seems to me he ran fastest when some sorry Packer D-back was following him into the endzone.
