I've only time for a quick blurb. My son was giddy for the Giants win over the Packers Sunday night for numerous reasons. One: I allowed him to stay up late to watch the whole game. He was doubly excited when the game went into overtime as that meant he could stay up even later!

Two: For some reason, my son is a die-hard Vikes fan and abhors the Packers. I can't quite figure that one out ;)

Three: His second grade class held a contest. The children were asked who they thought would win the NFC Championship game. The losing side would then be required to perform six "real" pushups and thirty situps. Only two people selected the Giants, my son and his best friend. And today is the day that the "losers" have to perform these feats. My son plans to do the Nelson voice (Ha-Ha) from the Simpsons the whole time these exercises are being performed. That would have been a great one for YouTube.
