Blue is the New Red

Nope, this is not going to be about Democrat's versus the Republican's. It doesn't have anything to do with Valentines Day. Yes, my significant other got her three dozen red roses (Thanks Costco!!) delivered to her office. Nope, I wanted to proudly announce that the COD family will be attending their very first concert...which is saying something since the youngest member is a few weeks short of 8-years old.

You got it! We'll be attending the Blue Man Group: How To Be A Megaster Tour at the Xcel Energy Center on March 29. We'll be on the floor very near the stage. From other people that have taken their kids to a BMG concert, we hear it is a great time. We'll be bringing along those Viking game day ear plugs just to be safe. We're not sure how far the "splash zone" extends but we figure to be close enough to pick up a sprinkle or two of BMG goo or whatever it is they tend to use to highlight their very visual performances.

So, what do you think? Are we being nuts in taking our son at this early stage in his "development"? I mean, it's not like we're caught running a red light with beer strapped in with a seat belt but a toddler is not.

Have you been to a BMG concert? If so, let us know what to expect! Leave a comment.

Coming Saturday, another VU podcast.

Sorry, poor writing on my part as I made no mention of the date of the forthcoming concert! We attend on March 29. I'll be sure and make a follow-up report then!
