The Story of My Life

Snoopy definitely understands why my great ideas from 3 am don't turn out so great when actually implemented. Does that mean I do my best thinking in the middle of the night and if I could put my ideas into practice then, they would be the works of genius?

I can't tell you how many papers I've really gotten going on between the hours of 1 and 3 am. I think there must be something to that.

My most productive times while in grad school always tended to be between 10pm and 1am. I start to get a little loopy after 1, though that's not to say it doesn't produce some interesting thoughts in itself.

There's a book out called "Aquainted with the Night" I believe that I want to read, maybe you would too. Evidently one thing it talks about is this particularly lucid (is that the word I want) state that people enter from 1am to 3am. Creative types often are their most productive then. Maybe at noon, the ideas don't make as much "sense", but don't discredit them outright!
