Illustration Friday: Mischief

The raven on top of the pole didn't turn out how I wanted, since he had to be smaller for scale purposes. Ravens are one of the original tricksters...what better symbol of mischief?

I like the way it appears the totum is translucent and one can faintly see the raven through the frog. It's a beautiful totum, I love the raven on top, and the big raven is so good. I love the legs and feet.

Even if the raven on the top didn't turn out the way you wanted it to, I still think it's a strong and powerful drawing. I like it - and you are very good to draw :)

Yes, this is colored pencil. I either a) don't have the proper tools and/or b) don't know how to use the tools I have to do any illustrations on the computer. :-) Just about all I do electronically is scan and post!
