One Day at a Time

There's a balance that's hard to achieve between keeping children safe and overdoing it. I catch myself holding myself back at the playground sometimes - my son has to learn for himself and you can learn a lot from falling down. Of course I wouldn't let him fall from something too high. Letting children grow and experience things for themselves is important.

I can't quite imagine sending a high schooler off to college! But you gotta figure they can handle it and there are people looking out for them a bit...
