Previously, an announcement was sent out regarding a "Sign Retroreflectivity Webinar" being conducted by ATSSA on February 12th. Northland ATSSA and Mn/DOT announced that they would purchase a registration for one location and invited members to attend. Unfortunately, the room capacity has been filled and no new registrations will be accepted for the group viewing at the Mn/DOT Arden Hills location. The contact person, John Benson, will be contacting the people who were accepted for the Mn/DOT webinar location. No one is considered registered unless confirmed through John.
However, the ATSSA webinar may still be purchased individually from ATSSA by following the link shown below. Remember, one registration covers all viewers at one location.

The FHWA Office of Safety advised all LTAP Centers that the Final Rule for maintained sign retroreflectivity was published in the Federal Register on Friday December 21, 2007. It will go into effect on January 22, 2008.
The FHWA Visibility Web site includes the text of the rule, the changes to the MUTCD text, a brochure that explains the changes, and other related items. Go to www.fhwa.dot.gov/retro.
The 4-page brochure is in the process of being printed. Minnesota LTAP will be receiving copies for distribution to our customers.
