Rural Road Safety Solutions Workshop

Since safety is a primary concern, the Local Road Research Board (LRRB) and Mn/DOT State
Aid developed a workshop that will help agencies create an operational “culture? where the
focus will be safety. Those who attend will leave with an understanding of the tools and
technologies needed for the assessment and improvements of rural roads.

Who Should Attend?

City and county engineers and their managers. The workshop will also serve as a train-the-trainers;
therefore, the desire is that attendees will present the same information to their staffs.
