Prefabricated Concrete Pavement Systems Showcase

This showcase will take place at the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) office in Mt. Arlington, New Jersey, October 14-15, 2008.

Check-in for the workshop will begin at 12:30pm on the 14th and presentations will begin at 1:00pm and last until 3:45pm. A night time field trip to demonstrate real-time installation procedures is included. The second day starts with comments from the contractor at 12:00pm and runs through 4:00pm. There is a $15 registration fee.

Safety equipment is required to participate in the field trip portion of the meeting. Attendees who want to be able to walk the job site and hear the accompanying information must provide their own hard hat, boots (no street shoes or sneakers), and a safety vest.

Jennings Randolph Fellowship

APWA announcement: 2009 call for applications for the Jennings Randolph Fellowships

The Fellowship supports participation at a public works conference of one of our international partners and a public works study tour in that country. APWA is currently accepting proposals for Australia, Mexico, or the Slovak and Czech Republics. The Fellowship generally covers the cost of airfare.
