On Wednesday, April 7 at 7 pm in Willey 125, the Sigma Alpha Chapter of Sigma Lambda Gamma, in collaboration with the Office for Fraternity and Sorority Life, the Alpha Beta Chapter of Sigma Lambda Beta, and the Psi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi, will host Multicultural Greek 101. Dr. Walter M. Kimbrough, author of Black Greek 101: The Culture, Customs, and Challenges of Black Fraternities and Sororities and president of Philander Smith College, will come speak about the history and culture of black and multicultural collegiate Greek organizations. Dr. Kimbrough is considered an expert on black fraternities and sororities based on his fraternal experience, publications, and over 350 presentations on the topic.
