A one-man show and one night only performance.
Experience the world premiere performance of "ATSUMORI in San
Francisco", an original play written by Yefei Jin, a senior at the
University of Minnesota. This version, inspired by the Noh play
Atsumori, retells the story of the young warrior set in a modern
immigrant context. Drawn from the real experiences of immigrants and
refugees, this play seeks to educate and inspire today's young
revolutionaries. Come see Atsumori reborn and witness the amazing
power of performance, blending western theatre practices with Chinese
and Japanese history.
