| No TrackBacks

"My name is Stephanie Carrera, and I am currently a graduate student at Iowa State University. In the Fall 2012 semester, I will be conducting a study for my Master's Thesis related to acculturation and psychological outcomes in Latino undergraduate students. The purpose of this study is examine and find ways to mediate the difficulties Latino college students may experience while they interact with family members that advocate their Latino heritage. We would like to collect data from Latino undergraduate students from universities in the midwest, including the University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus. We have already received IRB approval from Iowa State University and a waiver from the UM-TC office to conduct this study. We hope to contact Latino U of M students about this opportunity to participate in a survey, either via email or via phone. "

Please email Stephanie Carrera at scarrera@iastate.edu if interested in participating in her research.
