Minnesota Historical Society Internships.

Hello!

I am writing to share new and exciting positions now available at the Minnesota Historical Society for undergraduate and graduate student interns. For Fall 2012, we have 25 positions available across 36+ majors in 15 departments as well as a unique opportunity from Wilder Foundation. Four of these positions are paid, and in addition we also offer a limited number of stipends available for students who are from communities of color currently underrepresented in the Society. As you work with a cultural organization, we would very much appreciate you passing on this information to your students as students from diverse backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply. A list of these opportunities is attached to this email and details can be found on our website at: http://www.mnhs.org/about/interns/

If you have students who would like to be directly notified of these opportunities, please have them "like" our facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/MHSinterns for the latest updates and insights into our programs. We would really love to work with your students this Fall! We will later be recruiting for Spring interns (January-May) starting in November (application deadline will be November 18) so stay tuned for those postings as well.

The deadline for Fall applications is August 31, 2012, and we would appreciate your assistance in getting the word out to your students, organizations or other contacts who might be interested in this opportunity. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me!
