Google Apps
I decided to spend the $10 to sign up for Google Apps.
Signing up is free, but registering the domain is $10 per year. I have domains but I didn't care to use those for testing a product. As always, time to play is limited so I do my learning in bits and pieces.
I am most interested in the wiki, known as "sites". I am very impressed with the little I've looked at it. The editing interface is very easy, no code to learn like in UM Wiki. There doesn't appear to be all the configuration settings in TikiWiki either.
That means as a user I can begin almost immediately to work on the CONTENT of the wiki rather than learning how the wiki works.
In days gone by, I enjoyed "playing" with software to see how it worked, now I just want it to work. :)
