Namin' the new one

Everyone wants to name the baby....especially the brothers. O thinks that "Jackson" is definitely the way to go. He has held fast to that name since the concept of a new baby was announced months ago and proposes it every couple weeks. Bear was originally set on "Spikey". Quickly, that transformed into "Awesome". In fact, he thought Ella's new sibling should be "Awesome" as well. The Awesome cousins. Kinda fun. But, now - it seems that all younger brothers should be "Elliot" (due to the fact that buddy Aidan's little brother is Elliot). When I quickly responded to that suggestion that "That ain't gonna happen." there were lots of tears. Still - it isn't going to happen.

As hard as it is to get the children to understand that they don't get to name the baby, it is hard to not discuss it with adults. I am not at all for community naming of the child that I carried for months and months and months. This isn't to say that I haven't had good suggestions (thank you Angie) but I don't feel comfortable with the discussion that surrounds the naming. But, with that said, if you have ideas let me have 'em!
