Nicknames anyone?
So, you take your time naming your kids. You know you test the names out by yelling them outside ten time in a row in your loudest voice. You run them by people you trust to see if they are too off-beat. All that. And then - they get bigger and decide they want nicknames. Owen's buddy has a new nickname that is great: Scout. So, being a competitive little fella, O decides that he would really like a nickname of his own pickin'. So, what did he come up with you ask? Bob. yup - Bob. He has his whole baseball team calling him Bob.
This of course spurred Erik to pick one for himself too. I am sure you are thinking that it will be a really cute name. Something charming and all. Well, it is a soft name: Tofu.
Yes, I have darling boys calling themselves Bob and Tofu.
