Aiptek launches mini projectorPlease note, this blog has been archived and now lives at www.discretecosine.com
Aiptek (known for kind of crummy solid state camcorders) has launched a handheld projector, the PJV11X. It's strictly SD, and will only project an image of about 42" diagonal, but I'm a sucker for stuff like this. A battery powered project in your pocket? Just think of the opportunities for civil disobedience!
Thanks to Macnn for the link.

Aside from coolness factor, you are spot on about the chances for civil disobedience.
Granted, the projected image won't be too big...but can you imagine showing up at a speech/lecture and then making with a projected image against the speaker?

I'm considering what would happen at a speech.
Someone projects a image directly opposed to what the speaker is saying.

The majority of PICO projectors produce images in the 100 lumens range. This may not sound very bright, but it is seen as roughly 1/4th as bright as a 75 watt light bulb.
