All these ideas are very elegant. The bottom design is the most effective for the feeling you are portraying. The tail on the F creates a shape which breaks the 'box' created by the other letters. I would try putting the letters on a diagonal plane to create more interest.
The shape of the uppercase J is nice compared to the smaller letters, but the proportions are way off...

All the sketches have similar concept. But the one on the top right is interesting. The dot at end of the name gives an interesting look too. The "f" in the center creates an appealing shape. It has a good proportion and balance. The only downfall I see is the letters are a little too close together each other – more space between.

If you're still on the fence: grab your favorite earphones, head down to a Best Buy and ask to plug them into a Zune then an iPod and see which one sounds better to you, and which interface makes you smile more. Then you'll know which is right for you.
