I like the idea that you are playing with, the idea of trying to see what is there and not there. Playing connect to dots, we the viewer need to fill in the empty spaces. However, the way that you have it set up does not work. First you have the IBM thing going on, which does not bother me, but keep that in mind for your audience. With those bars they are not aligned with the cross-bar of the 'R' which needs to be done. Also another thing that bothers me with the bars is the middle one, You might as well make them all the same length. On the 'M' is what appears to be a serif or something. This does not need to be there, take it off it is very distracting. Another thing with the 'M' is that you have trimmed it down to where it now reads as the letter 'V' with a 1 in front of it. This could be read a 1 VEYER. The round hump on the tail of the 'R' does not relate with the other letters in the logo. This I believe needs to be modified so it has the sharp angles and lines that are in the others.
