A Couple of new Technologies Resources

Houston Neal/Softwareadvice.com created a guide to the "Best Medical iPhone Apps for Doctors and Med Students." They took 55 exceptionally good apps and featured them in 18 categories, and also included a link to the Google Docs spreadsheet of all 733 relevant to med education/professional at the end!

Next, at the HSLM program on Tuesday, Melissa Rethlefsen did a great presentation on various cool Web 2.0 tools. There are 115 slides in her presentation; the set of slides in the beginning are more about general categories (blogs, wikis, social netoworking sites, and then twitter, since it's its own category), while the ending set are more specific cool things from Dimdim (a free online web conferencing site) and Screenr (a free screen capture site that can post directly to twitter and also gives you an embed link) to design tools like kuler (create instant color palettes!) and Aviary (image/audio editor and more).
