Exporting from Ovid to RefWorks
There has been an intermittent problem over the last few days in trying to export citations from Ovid to RefWorks. Patrons are getting an error message from RefWorks saying something like Direct Export from Ovid is currently not working. While I have been unable to duplicate the problem, it has happened to patrons both remotely and in the library. If you get calls about this problem, the patrons can get around it by saving the citations to txt. instead of RefWorks and then, just as you do with PubMed citations, copy the text, log in to RefWorks, choose 'Import' from the 'References' and paste the text in the import box. Make sure that Ovid is chosen as the Import Filter/Data Source and Medline is chosen as the Database.
